Bob is a studio potter. During 2007, he spent the whole year in experimentation and the results are a fusion of ceramics and metal in a modern-day, 'industrial' alchemy. Beyond this, he has reached the conclusion that he prefers not to talk about himself or his work, so that the audience response is uninfluenced by background information.

Bob Race attended Ware College of Art but regards himself as self-taught as a ceramicist. His work is held in private collections from New York to Melbourne.
