There are around 25 artists working within studios at Wysing Arts Centre at any one time and the organisation places artists at the centre of all it does. Emerging artists are able to occupy studios at low cost and receive mentoring from our curatorial staff, giving them a supportive environment in which to develop their practice and careers. Wysing acknowledges that the career of an artist is a complex one and that the need to thrive economically must be balanced with the artistic aims of the Centre which embraces experimentation and risk-taking.

There is no waiting list for studios at Wysing Arts Centre. When studios become available they are advertised here and then applications are made through a selection process.
