Join us on a journey to our futures - 25 years and beyond; who will we be, what will we be doing, how and where will we be living? See our latest exhibition and work with artist Becky Palmer to explore many possible futures. Forecast our everyday lives of the future and use illustration, photo montage, and collage techniques. Take your future home in an album of imaginings.

Spring Half Term Workshops: Future Forecasts

Tuesday 18 February 10.30am – 12.30pm Workshop 1: Sci –Fi Selfies & Future Photo Albums - Who will we be, what will we look like, what will be doing? Use drawing, collage and photography to create selfies and stories for and from the future.

Wednesday 19 February 10.30am – 12.30pm Workshop 2: Scene and Scenarios & Future Travels -  Imagine where we will live and places you will visit – draw out and create dwelling-scapes and views from the future,  perhaps underground, underwater,  in outer space or somewhere as yet unimagined. Place them on many timelines.  

Thursday 20 February 10.30am – 12.30pm Workshop 3:  Forecasts for the Future - Using images and text be a future teller and make a forecast album telling stories of our everyday lives in the future and imagine adventures beyond what we know already.

Places are limited, booking essential
Cost: £8 per workshop, all three workshops £20
Suitable for all ages, children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Parents and guardians are welcome and encouraged to join in the activities.
