Paris based artists’ collective France Fiction (Stéphane Argillet, Marie Bonnet, Eric Camus, Lorenzo Cirrincione and Nicolas Nakamoto) invited the public to join them in a ceremonial hole digging event. As France Fiction say "looking up to heavens sky we remain in ignorance of what lies beneath our feet”. As well as being part of the event, visitors to Wysing were able to sit in the spring sunshine enjoying tea and cakes made especially for the occasion.

The event was part of artist Mark Aerial Waller’s project The Cassiopeia Plan, which included the creation of a new film on Wysing site and in collaboration with participants who came forward following an open call for participation.
