Many thanks to all of you who visited my group exhibition in Brighton and who asked me how it was at the end of the 4 weeks. We had about 1600 visitors, most of them very interesting people. I had a positive feed back on my calligraphic based work, including some engaging conversations. I went there with 10 sculptures and returned with 4.

Anne-Mie asked me to be the next for the wall in the window room at Wysing Arts - we talked about what I could do and I liked the idea to try something that had been in my head for quite a while but that I hadn’t tried yet … For this work I projected a drawing of mine on the wall and overtook the theme and the proportions. It is somehow the different language of lines and the poetic of those lines what intersted me to put on the wall…
David Kefford will be showing 3 framed drawings and a floor based sculpture at the forthcoming Bank Holiday weekend viewing of contemporary art placed within the stunning surroundings of Voewood Arts and Crafts house and grounds, Norfolk.

Here is a short extract from Wednesday evening’s presentation in the window room by Mark Dixon, starring Anne Mie (who was very brave to volunteer). Luckily for the likes of me, who couldn’t make it along, David caught the moment on his mobile phone.
It would be good to see some comments from those who were there and add some context to this intriguing film. Over to you all….
