Katherine and Sarah presented their work with passion and the experimental way they approached the projects gave the evening a real buzz. Katherine’s film reminds me of Camus 'Le Mythe de Sisyphe' when he writes about the idea that “only by facing the absurd can I act authentically; otherwise, I adopt a convenient attitude of wishful thinking.” Sarah’s confident drawing brings to mind the biomorphic abstract style of the artist Arshile Gorky. Yes, the evening was great! Katherine and Sarah presented their work with passion and the experimental way they approached the projects gave the evening a real buzz.
