Expanded workshops, artists talks and mince pies

FAMILY WORKSHOP
SATURDAY 28 NOVEMBER, 2-4PM
Transform everyday objects into art in this free, drop-in, family workshop that is inspired by artist David Kefford,
who is exhibiting in our current gallery exhibition EXPANDED. Bring an object that you want to transform – a lamp, coat hangers, plastic cups, old toys, old mobile phones, anything at all, and we will help you change it into art. We will also provide extra materials, for free.

ARTISTS’ TALK
THURSDAY 17 DECEMBER, 6-8PM
Join us for an evening of conversation with artists Julie Brenot, Lucy Conochie, David Kefford and Lee Marshall, chaired by Wysing’s Artists and Programmes Curator Lotte Juul Petersen. The artists will talk about their practicesand how they approached making new work for EXPANDED.

FAMILY WORKSHOP
SATURDAY 5th DECEMBER, 2-4pm
Come explore the hidden corners of Wysing on our ‘expanded trail’. We will take photos of our discoveries and project them onto walls to make life-size drawings.

END OF SHOW EVENT
SUNDAY 20 DECEMBER, 4-6PM
Join us for a mince pie, a glass of mulled wine, and an opportunity to say ‘Merry Christmas’ on the last day of EXPANDED. Wysing will then close for the holidays and re-open on Saturday 16 January when we launch our year of The Improbable with a with a newly commissioned work The Cassiopeia Plan by London based artist Mark Aerial Waller.
