Over three morning sessions led by artists we will be exploring materials, sculpture and drawing to make our own artworks and we’ll work together to create group presentations.
Monday 13 February 10.30-12.30
AMPLIFY; Painting, drawing, sound art and sculpture
Working with artist Jack Cornell, we’ll be exploring natural networks to inspire paintings and drawings on found objects and create our own sound art and a group sculpture.
Tuesday 14 February 10.30-12.30
INTERFACE; Pattern, surfaces and sculpture and film
Working with artist Jack Cornell, we’ll be exploring patterns and surfaces to create new sculptures and projections.
Wednesday 15 February 10.30-12.30
SEQUENCE; Stories, sequences & viewpoints
Work with artist Lucy Steggals, we’ll be exploring stories, sequences and viewpoints through drawing, collage and found objects.
ALL WELCOME – BOOKING ESSENTIAL The workshops are suitable for 6–12 yr olds, and cost £8 per child per workshop or £20 for 3 workshops. You are welcome to attend one, two or all three workshops. Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Please book here.
