Four week courses
Friday 9, 16, 23 & 30 September
Friday 7, 14, 21 & 28 October

Time to decide if Yoga is the thing for you? Join Monika Keeble at Wysing this September for a specially curated 4 week Fundamentals series exploring the elements of Yoga.

If you're concerned that you won't be flexible enough, then don't worry. Flexibility and the ability to meditate are not a requirement but something we can cultivate. The body, mind and breath are intrinsically linked and Yoga is a practice of bringing our awareness to the connectivity of these elements. If yoga is something you’ve been meaning to try or something you are just curious about - then this is the series of classes for you.

Monika Keeble: Yoga Fundamentals

What you will learn on this course:

  • basics of yoga poses
  • improved understanding of your anatomy and how it relates to your own mobility/flexibility
  • an understanding of hatha yoga philosophy and terminology
  • a little more about yourself!

Safety Notes: This class is accessible to all - if you have any health conditions that might impact your practice please share these with Monika before class.

Materials: You are welcome to bring a yoga mat, but we also have some that we can provide for you. Wear loose non restrictive clothing to ensure that you are comfortable when moving and resting. A blanket and socks for rest (known as 'savasana') are a good idea to aide your comfort in the practice.

Format: 1 hour long class - please arrive approximately 10 minutes beforehand, to check in and set up.

Dates: September (9th, 16th, 23rd & 30th) or October (7th, 14th, 21st and 28th)

Fees: £12 per individual class, or £40 for a block of four

Transport: We have ample parking on site. Public bus services run hourly from Cambridge (No. 18 from Drummer Street) to Bourn Village Monday to Saturday. Wysing is a 15-minute walk from Bourn, but please note this is along a busy road. Visit our website here for more transport information.
