About the class

The sessions focus on developing participants' understanding of how the body moves to ensure a safe practice of Yoga. The classes will invite thoughtful movement “Asana” into the body, attend to tight spaces and help you move from your working day into the evening. As well as this, Monika will introduce “Asana”- breath work- to support this movement and transition from mind to body. Classes all end with a short “savasana” rest period.

Flexibility is not required - it's something to cultivate over time…

What to bring to the session

- A yoga mat - we also have some yoga mats available if you would like to borrow one.

- Wear lose closing and bring some extra layers/sock for the rest at the end.

- An open mind.

About Monika Keeble

"I’m really excited to be joining you all at Wysing soon to share my love of Yoga with you all. I first started practicing Yoga in 2012 and in January 2019 began my Yoga Teacher training - it seemed like the best way to learn more about the practice. I’ve been teaching since 2020 online and in person to both adults and teenagers. I’m also a part time teacher of Art, currently painting but have explored ceramics and printmaking for years as part of my visual practice - I can never quite stick to one medium for very long.

My love of Yoga really comes from its ability to ground me, bring me into the present moment and remind me to be a happier, better person. It is my aim in the classes I teach - to offer this transition to you the participants." - Monika
