Information relating to your personal circumstances, if you feel these have acted as a barrier to you benefiting from similar opportunities or practising as an artist. This might include information on your financial circumstances, your cultural background, gender or sexuality, race, disabilities, lack of access to formal arts education or details of any barriers to access. You can say as much or as little as you want in this section, and in your own words.
Information about any access requirements you may have. This won’t be used for selection, but will ensure we can make adjustments to the programme to accommodate successful applicants. We also want to ensure that we can support all of the artists on the programme and we ask applicants to make their access requirements clear when applying, if applicable. You can also submit this information in the form of an access document if preferred, e.g. www.accessdocsforartists.com.
