Tuesday 9 May, 5:30 - 7:30 pm
Held at ELAN Studio, Mill Park, Cambridge, CB1 2FG (just off Station Road)
Are you looking for a way to boost your skills and CV, or get started in creative work? Take on our Circuit Conductors project!
Whatever your skills and interests are, this paid training project for 15 - 25yr olds is designed to develop your transferable skills and gain you paid experience and a reference from our galleries.
What you will do if you join Circuit Conductors:
1. Receive 3 days training in leading group discussions, working with other young people and working as an arts facilitator (it doesn't matter if you don't consider yourself an artist!)
2. Meet up with and have conversations with our youth sector partners (e.g. youth clubs) to find out about working with young people / the way they work and discuss creative projects they would like to do.
3. Create and deliver an arts workshop or event with local young people in partnership with a local youth organisation
You will be paid for the training days and for delivering an event with one of our youth sector partners.
The training will happen in May & June 2017. The conversations and events with partners will happen at various points throughout July, August, and September 2017
Upon completion of Circuit Conductors you will be signposted to other paid opportunities at our galleries and within the local creative network.
Come along to the CIRCUIT CONDUCTORS INFORMATION DAY ON TUESDAY 9 MAY at ELAN Studio, to meet staff from both galleries, find out more and to register your interest for the training project.
