Artist-Led Workshop & Arts Award Support Session: Digital Doorways to the Multiverse

Join Artist and Arts Award Adviser Jack Cornell to explore our latest exhibition, The Fifth Artist. During the workshop we will develop our own creative responses to the artworks using green screen technology to create digital doorways to the Multiverse.

Free Drop In Arts Award Support Session

Together you will create a parallel exhibition space next to the gallery, with multiple exits entrances, doorways and windows and think about who or what the fifth artist is.  We will explore spaces through drawing, sculpture and digital projection.

This workshop is suitable for anyone working towards achieving an Arts Award at any level - Discover, Explore, Bronze, Silver or Gold - and for anyone interested in finding out more about Arts Award. 

The session will be supported by Arts Award Adviser Bryony Graham, Wysing Producer of Family, Children and Young People’s Programmes. Refreshments will be provided.

As well as participating in the workshop, young people will be supported in creatively reviewing and discussing the exhibition and be able to have a Q and A session about Wysing’s work, supporting artist’s at every stage of their careers, to gain understanding of the arts industry and arts career paths We also offer Arts Award portfolio reviews – feel free to bring your work with you – we would love to see it.You would be welcome to come early, enjoy our grounds and see our outdoor sculptures - feel free to come and picnic before the session.

Wysing Arts Centre is an Arts Award Supporter Centre. We work with children, young people, schools and colleges who are working to achieve the Arts Award. As well as Arts Award Support Sessions we can tailor make specific Arts Award visits and workshops for schools and groups.
