We are excited to announce our residency programme for 2024-25. At a time of immense global upheaval, many of the artists joining us explore the potential for collaboration, collectivity and solidarity across borders. The range and shape of practices foster dialogue and build opportunities to commune together.

In 2024-25 we will host artist residencies with Emii Alrai, Barby Asante, Appau Jnr Boakye-Yiadom, Cade & MacAkill, emilyn claid, C&G Artpartment, Georgia Gendall, Hannan Jones, Alastair Kwan, Shepherd Manyika, Bella Milroy, Abi Palmer and Diana Puntar.

Some of these names might sound familiar: Bella Milroy is returning for a second year to extend her research in partnership with Vital Capacities, Diana Puntar returns with the support of Knotenpunkt, and Appau Jnr Boakye-Yiadom is now in the second year of the three-year Donna Lynas Residency Award, in collaboration with Somerset House Studios, Modern Art Oxford and South London Gallery.

C&G Artpartment’s participation is jointly supported by Wysing and Para Site, Hong Kong, in a new partnership between the two organisations. Knotenpunkt will support two residencies in 2024-5, in addition to providing ongoing support for Diana Puntar.

For the past three years we have worked with a network of advisors made up of Wysing Alumni to bring new voices into our programme. Our 2024 artist advisory group includes: Delaine Le Bas (she / her), Belladonna Paloma (she / her), Daniel Oduntan (he / him) and Eve Stainton (they / them); and Para Site.
