Kettle's Yard
As part of Kettle's Yard's reopening exhibition Actions, Circuit Cambridge have created an accompanying film that examines some of the emerging themes through artist interviews.
We are a collective of 18-25 year olds who come together to experience making art and are passionate about sharing it with others.
We have been working with Kettle’s Yard and Wysing Arts Centre to make a short film, which is on show in at the reopened Kettle’s Yard from Saturday 10th February.
The film is about the Actions exhibition, the artists’ methods and the place their work has in the wider world. With three questions about: reacting; taking action; and looking for a response; we are hoping to give audiences an insight into the processes they don’t normally see.
We worked with artists to plan, shoot, direct, produce and edit the film. We learnt new skills and shared existing skills in the group including animation, interviewing, cinematography and music composition.
Following the completion of the Actions film, we are now involved in new, exciting projects. If you are interested in our work: we will be hosting a workshop in the Actions Late at Kettles Yard (Fri 2nd March, 6-9pm)- come and meet us. You can follow the process on our social media. If you are aged 18-25, join us at one of our weekly meetings and bring your creative ideas.
