Intoart is a visual arts organisation committed to equity, visibility and social justice, led by the creative ambition of learning disabled and autistic people as artists and designers. Three artists from Intoart, Lisa Contucci, Nick Fenn and Ishaq Beckford, will spend a week together at Wysing in May exploring the site and opening up new ideas across painting, sound and film.
Ishaq Beckford's paintings contain nightmarish scenes of cyclops, vampires, cyborgs and Medusa's colliding. Text and image combine, revealing tragic and comic dialogues. Beckford lives and works in London. Recent projects include the forthcoming Intoart Annual Exhibition at Copeland Gallery, London (2025). Beckford joined the Intoart collective in 2018.
Lisa Contucci’s paintings on wood are layered using a wide range of mediums including acrylic paint, oil pastel, plaster and marble dust applied with brushes, drawing implements, tools and adapted found objects. Contucci lives and works in London. Recent projects include Intoart #1, published 2024; and Time Spaghetti, Dulwich Picture Gallery, London (forthcoming, 2025). She has exhibited as part of the Intoart collective since 2018.

Fenn lives and works in London. Recent projects include Views of the City from Different Places (2024) and a forthcoming group exhibition at Flat Time House, London (October 2025). He joined the Intoart collective in 2019.
